My Favorite Healthy Fall Vegan Smoothies

After trying to change my eating habits every way possible, I came up with my personal solution.

Add healthy things that taste like what you like BEFORE eliminating the food that is bad for you.

I think that we get in such a habit of eating the same things in the same way that when we eliminate our options before replacing them with a positive choice, it causes too much stress on the system. We get overloaded with the change.


When we get hungry we want what we are craving. If we do not satisfy that particular craving, we feel unsatisfied. Which in turn leads us to fulfill that craving even if we did just eat something healthy.

By adding the healthy food options first, we start to remember that we have options as to what we can have. We have tasty and healthy alternatives giving our body the potion to crave and enjoy something other than our unhealthy options. This makes the transition to healthier eating much easier!

Here are three of my favorite smoothies to help you start craving healthy options and leave the others in the dust.

Apple Cinnamon Vegan Protein Shake

1 Scoop of Complete by Juice Plus+ French Vanilla

1 Cup of Unsweetened Nut Milk

1 Apple chopped or 2 Cups Unsweetened Applesauce

1/4 Cup Oats

1 Tbs Flax Seed

1/2 Tsp Cinnamon

5 Ice Cubes

Blend and serve!

Pumpkin Pie Shake

1 Scoop of Complete by Juice Plus+ French Vanilla

1 Cup Unsweetened Nut Milk

1/2 Cup Organic Canned Pumpkin

1/2 Tsp Pumpkin Spice

1 Dash Nutmeg

1 Tsp Honey or Maple Syrup

5 Ice Cubes

Blend and Enjoy!

Apple Pie Shake

1 Scoop of Complete by Juice Plus+ French Vanilla

1 Cup Unsweetened Nut Milk

1 Cup Kale or Spinach

1 Apple Chopped or 2 Cups of Unsweetened Apple Sauce

1 1/2 Tsp of Cinnamon

1 Dash of Nutmeg

5 Ice Cubes
